As the only Swiss provider, we have stationed coaches at six locations in Switzerland. In addition, the EUROBUS Group is active at many locations as a " Service Public" company in public transport. Every day, more than 600 employees with over 300 buses, coaches and school buses are in operation and look forward to welcoming you on board. Sustainability and electric mobility are at the forefront at EUROBUS, currently over 20 electric regular service buses and over 20 electric school buses are in operation, service vehicles (PW) have been converted to electric throughout.
Nussbaumer has been with Eurobus for 25 years, he has been CEO of the EUROBUS Group since January 2022, he represents the interests of Eurobus at ASTAG on the board. As exam president for road transport managers and specialist lecturer in road transport, he is actively involved in promoting young talent in passenger transport.
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I want to play an active role in shaping the future of coach travel. As the 4th generation of Peters-Reisen, I combine traditional coach expertise with digital innovations. With my start-up vJourney, I am revolutionising 360° tourism with immersive virtual reality. My goal is to set new impulses for the industry and put the coach on digital wheels!
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
- Digitalisation in tourism - putting the bus on digital wheels
- Virtual travel formats - interactive content for a completely new travel experience
- Start-up mindset - Innovative concepts for the mobility of tomorrow
- Bridge between tradition & future - How transformation can work sensibly in existing structures
Our innovative approach was recognised with the Fresh Travel Award 2024 at BUS2BUS 2024. Now I'm looking forward to setting new standards for the mobility of tomorrow together with other experts!’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I am convinced that we can only improve and thus advance our industry through joint exchanges between people with diverse experiences within and outside our industry.
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
Practical experience from the day-to-day operations of Germany's third-largest municipal bus company, vhh.mobility.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because the bus plays a central role in German tourism - whether in sustainable mobility or in visitor guidance. The interdisciplinary composition of the board makes it possible to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions together.
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
My many years of experience and my network in the fields of tourism and mobility. Mobility is more than just a ‘from A to B’ service - it is a service of general interest, has a strong social component and is an important factor for participation and democracy.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I am convinced that we can only drive forward the energy and mobility transition with well-developed public transport and strong partners in the municipalities. The Advisory Board offers every opportunity to convince new and old stakeholders of this.
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
The communication and presentation of technological innovations and the knowledge acquired by mobility service providers in other countries worldwide. In the Advisory Board, I would like to bring together different companies and experts to find common synergies and new solutions for local transport.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I want to actively shape the future of mobility and give young professionals a strong voice - because holistic solutions can only be created through joint design.
I bring expertise in new mobility solutions, networking and empowering young talent as well as a large network of committed young professionals. Only through the right formats, targeted networking support and suitable offers for the right target group can we create a truly welcoming industry.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because it is a matter close to my heart to strengthen the public perception of the bus and make it the climate-friendly mode of transport of choice. And BUS2BUS, as Germany's leading trade fair for the bus, offers an excellent platform for this with the Advisory Board and the opportunity to help shape the content.
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
A comprehensive overview of all regulatory and political issues relating to buses as well as contact with the companies that keep German public transport rolling: The private bus industry.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I am seizing the opportunity to promote the topic of buses across industries and companies. To make public transport even stronger and, above all, more visible. The importance of low-threshold bus transport for everyone, almost everywhere, is greater than ever and this form of mobility, which promotes democracy, needs every voice. With our off-rail bus services, we are very close to the people and are working to create equal living conditions between urban and rural areas! Working together with strong minds from the most diverse areas of the transport sector is particularly enjoyable!
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
On the part of DB Regio Straße, I focus on the topics of integrating different modes of transport and basic services. Letting people of all ages and social classes live where they want is what drives me and I have a lot of experience in this area.’
‘I've been involved with BUS2BUS for a good five years now. Keynotes, podcasts, road shows, newsletters and as curator of the Future Forum.
It is a great honour and pleasure for me not only to have helped initiate the Advisory Board, but also to be able to support it as its director. I am firmly convinced that we can only strengthen the bus as the backbone of mobility by networking creative positions. This has not only been demonstrated by the first meeting, but will also be proven by the upcoming meetings.
I bring in the future. Because nothing is more important in these times than a future-orientated perspective. The future perspective and method helps me perfectly to scrutinise current mobility and spatial worlds and transform them into a positive development.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because a sustainable future means that we need all modes of transport to keep our cities and rural areas sustainable and liveable. The bus is a central link in this, both for our daily transport and for leisure activities and holiday trips.
I am happy to contribute my knowledge of mobility in general and the need for innovation to make our transport sustainable and future-proof. In doing so, I try to combine social challenges with my knowledge of technology - both in terms of (new forms of) drives, new fuels and the increasing digitalisation of buses, including self-driving buses.’
‘I am part of the BUS2BUS Advisory Board because I am convinced that a comprehensive mobility transition for all people can only succeed with the bus in all its facets - with positive effects in terms of climate, structural, social and economic policy. The bus is a driver of innovation in terms of decarbonisation, digitalisation and automation.
I contribute the following topics/expertise:
My experience from diverse research and consulting projects in the bus sector for the federal government, federal states, municipalities, transport companies and the vehicle industry and the many different perspectives with which public transport with buses can be further expanded and driven forward in a user-oriented manner. Sustainability is always an issue - not only for the environment, but also economically. After all, long-term sustainability is a key success factor for a successful mobility transition.’
