BUS2Talk: #HUMANCENTRIC PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION with VESPUTI
Guest: Ben Gallmeister, Strategic Partnerships at Vesputi
Kerstin Kube-Erkens, Senior Product Manager at BUS2BUS, and moderator Totinia Hörner talk to Ben Gallmeister, who is responsible for strategic partnerships at Vesputi. The mobility startup Vesputi enables the integration of public transport services into third-party apps. Find out what the hashtags #sharedmobility, #humancentricdesign and #cooperation have to do with it in this episode.
If you look up the term "fare jungle," you'll learn that it means "fare regulations that are very confusing and complicated." Who doesn't know this? Finding your way around public transportation in foreign cities can be a real challenge. "We're talking about the tariff A-levels that you have to pass in order to use public transport," says Ben Gallmeister. "We, as Vesputi, want to make that easier and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to use environmentally friendly transportation like buses and trains."
To achieve this user-friendliness, Vesputi offers the Mobilitybox, a solution that allows companies to integrate public transport as an additional service into existing offers. These can be regional or national transport companies, but also any company with end-customer contact, such as hotel booking platforms, concert organizers and trade fair companies that have the need to integrate mobility into their offerings. "We want to show transport companies that this is an exciting new sales channel. Something that doesn't take customers away from you but brings new customers." Listen in!
