New opportunities and synergies – BUS2BUS becomes part of the new Mobility Division at Messe Berlin
BUS2BUS welcomes the creation of the new Mobility Division at Messe Berlin, which will concentrate all mobility-themed events under one roof. Mobility continues to be one of the main topics of the future. This strategic decision creates ideal conditions for embracing the dynamic developments in the mobility sector. On 1 November 2024 Kai Mangelberger, an experienced event expert with wide-ranging knowledge of the mobility sector, will become head of the new division.
Kai Mangelberger is optimistic: “The mobility transition is gathering pace at every level. We are seeing growing demand for climate-friendly drive systems, digitalisation solutions and new forms of mobility. With the new Mobility Division, we are creating the ideal platform that gives these topics the forum they deserve.”
Kerstin Kube-Erkens, director of BUS2BUS, echoes that view. “Establishing the Mobility Division strengthens Messe Berlin, but also BUS2BUS as the leading expo for Europe’s bus and supply industry. We look forward to the additional synergies that will result from close cooperation between the mobility trade shows of Messe Berlin’s range of events. Many of the current mobility topics cover multiple markets: they include sustainable drive systems, driving climate action, digitalisation, driverless vehicles and a new customer experience – they all concern the entire mobility sector. This is where in future InnoTrans, ILA, BUS2BUS and the IZB can work even more closely together and create extra added value for our customers.“
In April 2024 BUS2BUS gathered over 2,400 high-profile attendees from 39 countries along with 140 exhibitors from 20 countries. The next BUS2BUS will take place on 15 and 16 April 2026.
