Next Stop: Italy

The International Digital Roadshow of BUS2BUS is on the move again. Free online registration for the next stop in Italy on 4 May 2023 is open now. Mobility experts will examine the future of mobility.

Following a successful start in France, BUS2BUS is making its next Roadshow stop in Italy. ’The Energy Transition in the Italian Bus Industry’ is the fascinating topic of the upcoming event from 10.30 a.m. to approximately 12 noon on 4 May 2023, which will feature a discussion round with leading Italian mobility experts. Expert panellists will talk about the promises of a future with sustainable drive systems, focusing in particular on battery-electric and fuel cell buses.

Among those taking part will be Riccardo Schiavo, Chief Editor of the magazine Sustainable Bus; Antonello Conte, Head of Project Management at Giugiaro Architettura/GFG Style, and Stefano Caprio, COO at PUNCH Hydrocell; Francesco Romagnoli, Head of Environment, Energy and Technical Affairs at ANAV (Associazione Nazionale Autotrasporto Viaggiatori) and a representative of Industria Italiana Autobus. The team of BUS2BUS from Berlin and Messe Berlin’s foreign representatives in Italy will be the hosts.

Participants will find out why these innovative vehicles will be the stars of tomorrow’s mobility mix, and about the pivotal role that infrastructure and startups will play in transitioning to emissions-free mobility. The panel will also look at how alternative drive systems and new materials are influencing bus design and the trends this points to in the future.
