Next stop: Nordic countries

The International Digital Roadshow of BUS2BUS is on the move again. Free online registration is open now for the next stop in the Nordic countries on 20 September 2023 where mobility experts will examine the future of mobility.

Following visits to France, Italy, the German-speaking countries and the Iberian Peninsula, the Roadshow is stopping off in the Nordic countries. ’Nordic Innovations: Shaping the Future of Bus Mobility’ is the topic of the upcoming event on 20 September at 9.30 German time (CEST) and 10.30 Finnish time (EEST) which will gather leading mobility experts.

The Nordic countries have long been at the forefront of sustainable mobility and are outpacing other European countries in pioneering initiatives that revolutionise the way people move from A to B. Furthermore, Finland, Norway and Sweden have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to reducing their carbon footprint while enhancing the efficiency and convenience of their public transport systems.

Among those taking part will be Anna Grönlund, deputy managing director, Swedish Bus & Coach Federation, Agnieszka Skóra, business development manager, Kempower, Johan C. Haveland, CEO, Asistobe, and Gerhard Wennerström, managing director, Samtrafiken. Mikko Koskue, counsellor, Trade and Investment at the Finnish Embassy in Berlin will moderate the event.

The team of BUS2BUS from Berlin and Messe Berlin’s foreign representatives in Finland, Norway and Sweden will be the hosts.

The panellists will explore why the Nordic countries are at the forefront of mobility innovation and find out more about sustainable solutions for public transport and long-distance travel as well as cutting-edge alternative drives. Topics will also include the charging infrastructure, autonomous driving technology and the smart implementation of AI in Software as a Service (SaaS).
