BUS2BUS 2022: Back to bus business
From 27 to 28 April 2022, taking as its slogan ’Next Stop – the Future’, as one of the first events representing this sector BUS2BUS will present the entire spectrum of the bus and supply industry. But before the event gets under way in Berlin the team of BUS2BUS will get things rolling again, actively supporting the industry’s recovery.
The first step was the virtual BUS2BUS Special Edition on 15 April 2021, in which some 900 users from 19 countries took part. With an overall satisfaction rating of 94 per cent, the reactions to the BUS2BUS Special Edition were very positive. A very high percentage was also satisfied with the programme and the relevance of the topics discussed.
Kerstin Kube-Erkens, senior product manager for BUS2BUS: “We are proud that the virtual Special Edition of BUS2BUS was so well received, but are looking forward all the more to exchanging ideas face-to-face at the live event that we will be offering the industry again in April 2022. We invite all our regular and new exhibitors to secure their trade fair stand now at Early Bird rates with no risks attached. New virtual services at the in-person event will ensure they can expand their reach at the fair.“
BUS2BUS combines three elements at the event: the trade fair presents a wide-range of products and services in seven display segments, with Fresh Travel representing a USP. In this segment the focus is on the influence that design, interiors and digital solutions have on making bus travel more attractive. Augmenting the trade fair is the Startup Area, for which new and innovative companies can apply and in which they can take part free of charge. Testing and trying out new products will be a big part of next year’s in-person event, and there will be many opportunities to do so on the outdoor display site and the specially organised Future Course in the Summer Garden. Visitors can look forward to live demonstrations of new drive technologies, assistance systems and driverless buses being tested there.
In addition to sales, at BUS2BUS exchanging knowledge and presenting innovations via lectures and workshops plays an important role. The Future Forum and the bdo Congress will combine on centrally located stages at the Palais am Funkturm in the middle of the fair. The third, new main event at BUS2BUS is BUS2Specials. This comprises various formats and promotes a dialogue in small groups on special topics, vocational training for participants and also provides a platform for new products and innovations.
Exhibitors wishing to take part in BUS2BUS 2022 can register online at Early Bird rates from now until 31 October 2021. Registration forms are available here. BUS2BUS, Germany’s only independent business platform for the bus and supply industry, was launched in 2017. More than 1,700 trade visitors from 34 countries and 103 exhibitors from 13 countries took part in BUS2BUS 2019. Combining a trade fair, bdo Congress and the Future Forum as well as BUS2Specials, it covers a wide range of forward-looking technologies and presents the bus industry’s latest trends and innovations. The next BUS2BUS will take place from 27 to 28 April 2022 in Berlin.
